How to pack your box to ship to Latin America

Packing your box well is the best way to make sure your things arrive complete. Here are our tips after thousands of door-to-door shipments.

1. Use a sturdy box

Choose a double-wall cardboard box in good condition. Avoid old or damp boxes that can give way under weight.

2. Protect fragile items

Wrap delicate things in bubble wrap or clothing, and fill empty spaces so nothing moves inside the box.

3. Distribute the weight

Put the heaviest items at the bottom and spread the weight. A balanced box handles better and gets damaged less.

4. Seal it well

Use packing tape on all seams, in an "H" shape. Don’t use regular adhesive tape.

5. Make a list

Write down what you’re sending. It helps with the quote, insurance and to check that everything arrived.
